adding tinymce editor to blog comments

Hi,

I'm getting conflicting results from my boonex search for the above issue...I can't find out how to add a tinymce editor to the blog comment field.  There is one for the main editor, but not the comment section.  Some forum entries on here seem to suggest it is possible in 7.1, others suggest it has been removed due to spamming concerns, yet more suggest it works but only on certain browser (I have checked Firefox/Chrome/IE).  I'm confused!!

I just need a user to be able to upload an image to an existing blog, so need the tinymce editor in place.  Does anyone know if this exists as an option or would I need to code it in myself?

Thankyou!!

Tom.

Yes, it is a setting in the admin.  Will go look and then post where.

Go to advance settings and then under the General section you will find: "Enable WYSIWYG editor in comments"

Now by the default the TinyMCE in comments uses a basic tinyMCE configuration.

To add items to the toolbars (look at the other editors to see what you need to add as you may also need to include a plugin for the button), /templates/base/scripts/BxDolEditorTinymce.php

Thanks geek_girl, helpful as always!!  I had already amended the toolbar script so it only had what I wanted on there, but I missed that little tick box!! :-)
