adding php to xhtml? DEANO HELP! or anyone else good with php

ok so i want to add google ads to my mobile pages but they are xhtml .. is there way way you can add php to xhtml? i added it to one and it looked like it didnt know the php code

AdSense isn't php it uses java script

Google AdSense uses the JavaScript function document.write() for the ads and when XHTML is served as 'application/xhtml+xml', document.write() doesn't work. Also the ads are embedded in an iframe, which is not allowed.
