adding js and css to header ????????????????

i want to place some js for a news box like the one on yahoo and a pure css accordion script into the head for box designs but am not able to get it to work !!!! i have looked around on here but just can not find the answer :O)

anybody ?????

The file you'll want to edit is /templates/base/_header.html. You'll need to clear your /cache/ (except for the .htaccess file) and /cache_public/ directories afterward.

Dolphin 7 already loads the jquery library, and you should use jquery for accordions.  Before adding some other js for stuff like this, you should try doing it with the already loaded jquery library.

thanks for the reply ..

i have found the js library in the plugins how would i add to the libray and i hope this isnt silly question but where do you add the correct code into the header ?  so that it is compiled into the gziploader php ? would iy be system__injections i did see a post but i think it was more about placeing an object in to the template rather than placing script into a page builder block
