 Does anyone know how long the World Map takes to update 25,000 members that were imported in before installing the module. It took over 24 hours to do my other site with 6,000 people.
Is 20,000 too many?

There is 6 sec delay for each geocode requests, so it will never reach the limit. 20,000 (people) * 6 (seconds) * 1.5 (some additional time 500 ms - needed for the actual request) * 2 (for some people more that 1 request is performed, since not all addresses can be geocoded from the 1st attempt) = approx. 100 hours Rules → http://www.boonex.com/terms |
Puts things in perspective. It quit running but seems to not have completed, although it said it did. Do I run it again. Will it be another 100 hours or just grab the ones it missed? |
