Where are the profile view notifications?

A feature my members love is the spy, and they like knowing that they aren't being ignored on the network. That is an issue the spy solved by showing Profile View Notifications.. Since we updated though to 7.1.1, those notifications seemed to have vanished.. Can anyone point me to where I can enable this again? Or have they been disabled? :(

any thing I can do about this? :(

Did you try uninstalling Spy and reinstalling it to see if they show up again?

I have never seen any profile view notifications, so maybe this is not included in 7.1.x.  I use a "Who Viewed Me" module from the Market for this purpose.

Oh wow, they had the feature that showed "MemberA viewed your profile" that appeared in the notifications with 7.0.9 and previous.. So it's possible it was taken out.. that is sad.. Guess I'll need a module for it now.. Thank you for letting me know geek_girl!

Yes, that is the one.  I think I had to do a config change so it would install on 7.1; I am using it on 7.1.; plus I added a bit of code to show the time they visited as well.

It is a cheap module so it is not like you have to spend a lot.

YouNetCo are not good to deal with though.  I brought their blog importer tool and had poor service with them on it.  I noticed the module was not reading in the date for the blog when it imported them, instead putting the date for all imported blog posts as the date they were imported even though the xml file had the post dates.  I asked YouNetCo about changing it and they wanted $30.00 when it should have been that way to start; another case of a flaw being passed off as a feature.  I had to do some reading on xml files first but when I understood how xml files work, making the change only took a few minutes.  YouNetCo could have done the change in a minute and been done with it.

So it isn't compatible with 7.1? They really need to clean up the Market.. Old modules should go into a section for older version of Dolphin, and not mixed in with the current updated modules that work with the latest version :( Someone like me who is a compulsive buyer will buy it ASAP without looking at the last updated date.. I purchased it and it won't even let me download the darn thing :( I don't want to pay another $5 for it, especially if I'm going to have to make code changes and/or configuration changes.  I contacted YouNetCo on Unity and so far, no reply :( I hope they get back to me soon.

Sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience with them though, thank you for letting me know what you did, I'm going to have to do the same I guess.

No, the module IS compatible with 7.1; I am using it on 7.1; I can not attest to 7.1.2 because I have not upgraded yet.

Modules have a compatibility listing on each one.  Many developers will package the different versions in one zip.  I was letting you know that the module will work for 7.1 even though it has not been listed on the market for 7.1.

Each module has a config.php file that lists the version it will work on; Dolphin reads this at the install time to keep someone from installing a wrong version module; some will break a site if the wrong version.  I am letting you know that the module can work by telling Dolphin it is compatible; the module developer has not gotten around to updating the Market mods; they are moving to their website but the modules are here for those that have purchased the modules so they can be downloaded.

If you purchase the module; I will be glad to help you to get it installed and if you want the bit to show the time of day as well as the day they visited, I will show you that as well.  Most modules on the market can be edited by the purchaser of the module for their own use to make such tweaks.
