When a new member join via Facebook Connect, without permissions...

We're experimenting with the Facebook Connect join/login module (Boonex, 1.0.4 version). When a potential member joins with this method and accepts our Facebook application's permission requirements (name, age, profile pic etc) everything is fine. However, when they do not accept the required permissions and continue the join process then our site is left with members with literally only a username and occasionally an avatar if they allowed that. So... how can we prompt these users to actual input an email address after signing up... or better still... not allow the join process to complete without the required permissions! Any ideas?

bump

If someone is logged they have "Hello Name_fb_id", but some areas are restricted. For example: events, that are available for public / anonymous are restricted for them.

How to repeat:

log into fb

visit dolphin with enabled fb connect

It will automatically join you (admin receives e-mail info) but you are unable to do anything and even have lower rights than anonymous!

Any experience on this topic?

We have added some features for d7.0.5 facebook connect module. Maybe some of them will help you with your question. Look here: http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/ticket/2296

PS: If possible do not write me personally, please try to ask on the forum first
