I am in the market for a points/affiliate module and mp3 player module. currently i see 3 points modules(modzzz, andrewp, antonlv) and 2 mp3 player modules(antonlv, tboully).
would it be smart to go with antonlv because i would be dealing with same vendor? are there advantages of one module over the other? does anyone have any experience with the modules they can share?
my purpose of the mp3 player would be to offer music of course to my members. i want them to be able to upload the music from their computer or find music on the site/from other members. it would be nice that once the mp3 player is playing in its own window that window would remain on top as you visit other pages. i would also like to have a drag and drop method available to add the songs/sounds. last feature i would really like to have is the ability to create and save play list.
with the points system im not to interested in offering points for uploads, etc.... i would rather use it for a money system for my members to be able to purchase from stores, ads, etc... and to be able to donate to other members. i will also be using the points for referrals and affiliates. i basically want to use the points system to be used to create my own sites currency.
i have googled it, searched topics, etc... nothing is really clear. i have asked each vendor but i would rather hear from the people that have used or are currently using the modules.
if anyone can explain to me in plain simple english which modules they have used, prefer, why, etc... please get back to me.
