What is the Criteria to get a file on Popular Page

Hello,

I would like to know, what is the criteria to get a file (file, photo, video etc...) in Top, Popular, Featured Tab. Lets take an example when I hover the mouse on Videos section (in Navigation bar) it shows sub menus like Top Videos, Popular Videos etc... When I click on any of the tab I get some file there, I want to know how can I manage them and what is the criteria to set them (which file) as Popular or Top rated files.

Sorting in media modules:

Popular: sorting by views count

Top: sorting by rating and rating count

Default: sorting by recently added

These criterias are defined in getSorting function in inc/classes/BxDolSearch.php, templates/base/scripts/BxBaseSearchResultSharedMedia.php and maybe overridden particular module files.
