What are our mobile choices really??

Ok I have a new site that is due to launch, one thing  that is really weighing on me is mobile options.. seems like we have 2 choices, Esase WAP mobile app... which is like WAY beyond out dated... or the mobile apps with rebranding.. which I think we all feel the same way about spending 10 million dollars for apps and the licenses it requires.. is that it? we only have those 2 choices? No one has done another version of a mobile app that works with forums and stuff?... I was hoping for 7.1 with a responsive template, but seems the only template that fit, was not responsive

with the way mobile devices are improving and upgrading, a Responsive template may be the best option - at this time. It allows almost complete functionality of the site without the hassle of doing code changes for mobile devices specifically.

i just seen on the market a module that makes any template responsive

I have the same issue. I am testing the mob app and with the IDBW newsfeed it makes it a lil better.
But i am going for responsive template now until there is a app what is more functional and interacts better with 3rd party modules. Also a big thing are the cost!!

you pay for a app that is mostly read only and is way to much money for what you get.
So, as long as there is no alternative.. responsive is the way to go.

But I hope that the template vendors come with better looking templates soon.

This is my biggest Problem about dolphin apps "so bored"...Plus the market does not offer anything at all.

Yes there are some developers at the market that do apps ?? really?

I strongly believe  ilbellodelweb mobile news feed is the only good thing on market .. Yes the apps need some upldate or upgrade.

I will be the first one to buy whatever ilbellodelweb bring to make the apps more professional and friendly for all.

there a free responsive template in the market ( PALCOM ) . Its easily customized . Pretty impressive.

i think i am going to try that module on the market that allows you to make any template responsive

 Make sure that you keep in mind that the description states that it may not work will 'all' custom templates without tweaking.

yeah i seen that.. gonna email him real quick, i have like less than a week to find a solution
