What Can't I do from iphone using web browser?

Ok, I'm serious here- Why is it better to use the IPhone app, rather than to login to my site using a web browser ion my iPhone?

I mean what can I do with the app that I can't do with a web browser?

I have mobile Evo Wall for the mobile app, Yet again, I'm not seeing what I can do with it that I can't do with a web browser.

I guess I'm just trying to figure out what the benefits are of the mobile app if I can do everything and more from a web browser on my iPhone?

The one big benefit is uploading photos to your site via mobile app is much easier and photo's

don't upload sideways.

Honestly it would depend on how you have your site 'niche'. For example, if your site was a video chat site, of course any of the mobile apps wouldn't be the way to go.

Flash will not work on iPhone or the newer Androids so that may pose a problem as well.

Unless you had a 'responsive' template, it could be very difficult to view your website via the mobile browser(s).

I have seen (on my older Android) where the keyboard would not activate in text boxes. Specifically replies in forums or other TinyMCE areas. BTW, I do not have that problem now with my new phone.

Am I saying that you need to use the mobile apps? Absolutely not.

SO nothing major has changed with Dolphin then?

I guess I don't know where I got it stuck in my head that we couldn't use all the modules and lots of functions wouldn't work.

Oh well....I do know one thing- I'm cheesing over how much more nicer it is now with my particular responsive design. There are some CSS adjustments I need to make here and there still....It is true- Uploading a photo is easier from the app, but after I make some of those CSS adjustments I referred to, I may take that back....still a lot more things I need to try out too though.

Overall- Until I see a ton of 3rd party apps for Dolphin mobile, or Dolphin's mobile app becomes more comprehensive like FB's or something, responsive design is where it's at for me I guess....despite the damn flash annoyance.
