Why is this language string removed in 7.1 while it exists in 7.0? You're harshen my mellow!

F English only... every key should be multilingual-friendly. Stop writing non-keys, please.

Language Keys added. And texts are not displayed. What am I missing or doing wrong?

The way it is written now is for simplicity, you can just edit it in TinyMCE area.

But for advanced users language keys are also supported, so you can add your own language keys and use then in the splash.

As mentioned above...

I did add <bx_text:_WELCOME /> and <bx_text:_BANNER_TEXT /> in Splash without TinyMCE.

I did add Language Keys: _WELCOME and _BANNER_TEXT.

These texts aren't showing up...

I tested using a language key on my site and had absolutely no problem.

Double check to make sure your language keys are there.

Also check the langs folder to make sure it is writable. Make sure the langs files in the langs folder are getting updated when you recompile the languages. Check timestamp.

Based on my tests, i know language keys work, so it has to be a problem at your end.

Language Keys are there.

Langs folder is 755 and lang-en.php is 666. (Clicked and opened with Code Editor... it's there.)

I have no problem adding language keys on other things and are working. But it doesn't freaking work in Splash.

I just wiped dolphin root folder, database, and cronjob and installed Dolphin 7.1.4... straight to Add Keys and then Splash. STILL doesn't display. All blank... the only thing that I see is background image, bottom white bar, Join and Login buttons are there. But TEXT are NOT there.

I tried this on an unedited new install of Dolphin just for grins, and it did not work for me either - Yes the key is present, but in my attempt I got <bx_text:_WELCOME /> instead of blank area.

My site is running 7.1.3 and it works fine.

I have to officially call this one a bug. I tried the demo.boonex.com site and it does not work.

Seems they must have made a change in 7.1.4 that broke it. It works on my 7.1.3 site, but not on 7.1.4 so... Only explanation is boonex broke something in the last update.

In 7.1.4 the key <bx_text:_WELCOME /> is getting converted to <bx_text:_welcome></bx_text:_welcome>

Not only is the template key not being processed, it is being converted to lower case and changed to a opening and closing sequence.
