Wamp Server & Internet server

Hello guyz

Can you anybody tell me what and how to solve a stupid problem.

For example if you are developing the dolphin site locally on a WAMP server and then you upload the site to a internet server or intranet server and openning a browser and tying the url with www  or http  why is it always showing he local wamp server website instead of the uploaded live site.

Can you guyz help me with this please.  This is only for information and testing since we do not have access to the main internet but to only out collage intranet.

Just guessing... it sounds like your DNS for the domain name is not pointed to the correct Server.

Example: If you have the domain registered at GoDaddy, you would need to login and change the Server Names to point to 'live' site.

Apparently it turned out to be the header.inc.php file, actually. At least I hope so, because my ego can't take any more hits today.

Thanks guys

but actually i had even sent private messages to magnasoft, Anton and Andrew who gave me the same solution which worked out.

It was actually  an issue with  inc/header.inc.php  wherein i had to change the url and the database details.
