Videos and Photos on one same page?

Is that even possible? Like having one page where it has on top a space dedicated to the latest videos and one below for the latest photos?

also, you can use Deanos Block Tools module and just copy the blocks over to page you require!

as a test to check it would work, I added my public videos and public photos blocks to my members page:-

edit: you could create there own page via page builders and add them to it etc.

@ Deano is the module ok for copying 'special blocks' ? I have the blocks copied over to a page but when clicking 'next'  > icon the block vanishes.

if you are looking to keep content together by some form of criteria, then you can do a copy of the groups module (rename to fit your preference), and then you can upload photos, videos, files, and sounds and have them displayed on the same page.

Example, my site is related to mental health, One of the Issues is Anger, so I have a copied groups module called resources, with Anger as one of the entries. Within this section, users can upload anything related to Anger (videos, files, sounds, pics). And then these items can be displayed on the same page.

In most cases no. Special blocks cannot be copied because they are designed to work only on that page. It only works mostly for PHP, HTML and RSS type blocks, and even then, some PHP blocks that are copied do not work properly. That copy feature i put in the module has turned out to be a big disappointment. Only a very small percentage of blocks can be copied.

The reason those block you copied for the test do not work is because the javascript ajax links in the block are expecting to be on the original page.

@ Deano, does your module do the thing properly? I mean, can I use it to have a page where I can display both latest public or fetaured videos and photos?
