Video upload error

Hello, i am having som issues with video upload.

1. When i upload a video the progressbar goes to 100% and says upload complete. and the the upload bar goes away, and nothing else happens, and no video is shown.

2. Video upload via iphone app says Error - Connection Errors, after i hit save.

What i have tried.

My first thourgts were the RMS setup, it seems to work. chat is fully working anyway.

I have tried boonex own iphone app, with same error showing.

Hope someone have a possible solution.

I do have a feeling this is something about this.

Warning: shell_exec() has been disabled for security reasons in /var/zpanel/hostdata/zadmin/public_html/online-album_dk/inc/classes/BxDolAdminTools.php on line 770

Most likely. ffmpeg included with dolphin needs to run which is done during cron jobs.

shell_exec is a dolphin requirement. Some hosts disable it. If you cannot get your host to allow it for your site then you will need to find a host that is compatible with dolphin.

Dolphin needs the following requirements. http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/wiki/DolTech

I have access to php.ini file. can i activate it there ?

If it was disabled using the disabled_functions setting then maybe. You could try setting disabled_functions to nothing. A empty value.

If that does not work then the only way is to get your host to do it.

Ok i have solved it now :) for those who are using zpanel, they have to activate suhosin-simulation in suhosin.ini

anyway that solved it for me :)

Only now the videos is going at video proccessing and nothing happens after that, is that something that could be a part of the same problem or a all new one :)

Do you have the cron job setup? If you're not getting an email every night around midnight saying the database was cleaned then the cron job isn't running. The cron job is what actually runs ffmpeg and processes the video.
