Hi, i got an bug on my dolphin... i dunno why...
When a video is uploaded on my website... in the timeline... the thumbnail is vertical
i attach a preview
i dont have this bug when i was on a linux server... now i migrate on a windows server... i install image magik and all the photo uploaded is resized correctly... its only bug with video preview thumbnail... so its weird... maybe is a ffmpeg.exe bug?
what is the solution?
thx

If you think it is related to Windows server, send a PM to DolphinJay as he knows Dolphin on Windows. Geeks, making the world a better place |
After seeing the attached image, the thumbnail is not being resized and the reason for the vertical is that the rest of the image is being cut off. I actually saw that once before. I assume you have checked your settings for the video thumbs in admin. Geeks, making the world a better place |
ve checked your settings for the video thumbs in admin
well no i dont check settings... because it dont do that bug when the server was on linux... and i migrate to a windows server with a backup of the entire website... so it have the same setting that it had when it was on linux...
but where is the setting for video thumbnail?

/m/videos/administration/settings
check and save them out for good measure. Note that only new video uploads/embeds will have the correct thumbnails as they are created at the processing time.

You do have to download and install/overwrite, ffmpeg that ships with Dolphin. Was that done?

well i restore the old one that was on my linux server...
i will try to download it again and resend it into the windows server so see if it solve the problem

nope even with a fresh ffmpeg.exe same bug with the timeline :( |

You have to have the windows version of ffmpeg, which can be downloaded from Boonex; http://www.boonex.com/ffmpeg_win.zip which I suppose you have already done.
As I said before, if you think this is related to the windows server, contact DolphinJay as he has experience with Dolphin on Windows servers.

Yes, and I guess I should have mentioned it sooner but just assumed that you had uploaded the windows version of ffmpeg. Oh well, at least you have it working now.
