Video Embed Option Not Working

When I enter a youtube link and click submit, I get an error message _BX_VIDEOS_EMB_ERR

How do you say D7 is stable??!! Everything was working fine until yesterday and today I get this error without any reasons. I didnt add or remove anything from the site.

You need to make sure that the URL for the embed is the actual one (check the URL to the right of the video playing), its not protected from embedding, and it doesn't require you to sing in due flagging for "suggested material". If it is any of those mentioned above, you may get that error.

Try a different video.

If this was really bug or something, EVERYONE would be getting this error.

Hi Chris,

Other videos working. Only this video has the problem. It is my own upload to youtube and embed option is allowed and the video is live also. Then why I cant embed it?

Chris,

I face the problem with Video links starting with an underscore (_). These kinds of links are not working.

For example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7oS1W5GT90

Anybody please try this and report, if you face any issues? Thanks.

Flagged material, like using an artist's song in a video will not embed. I had the same problem yesterday. It is a youtube thing not a dolphin thing. I tried another random video and it worked fine.

Sorry, thats not a flagged video!

I got the same error on D7 ...what to do?

actually video "embed" with Youtube was working before...

I modified an aleady embedded video in mySQL (table RayVideoFiles, field Video) and put the Youtube video id manually->works!

Where has Dolphin the problem?

Most of them work great but some of them don't.  I don't understand why some get this error message "_BX_VIDEOS_EMB_ERR" on boonex while they're no errors on YouTube. Hmmmm  It bothers me.

Hello aneesh!

In our demozzz.com/dolphin7b site, this video was successfully embedded, see admin videos. Possible - ur server loast connect during operation or may be it's not enough memory space for ffmpeg to make screenshot from this video.

Hi there,

hmm, I could "embed" the Youtube video after logging in with another machine!? Maybe it is even a browser cache problem???

Sometimes it works, sometimes not ;-(

I think somebody should look into this issue, since video might make or brake a community!

Thanks everybody.... it worked now when I tried from google chrome!

Still no way with firefox. Also the tags and description are not coming correctly with firefox.

Sometimes it doesn't work for a fresh video uploaded in you-tube in my case I uploaded a video and wait until it completes process after  2 to 3 hours  I can embed the videos and it works great with my site.
