Use join form on separate splash page...

Any ideas how I can pull the join form fields and functions onto a new splash screen page? I'm setting up a very simple 'intro screen' with sign-up at the top and a short join form. No clutter and menu items (about us, etc at the bottom menu and logo and an explanation of the site will be shown too). Any ideas? Many thanks.
