Use for Chamber of Commerce???

I am wondering if anyone has experience using Dolphin as a base for a local Chamber of Commerce website. I am contemplating installing it for a newly formed Chamber. I am looking for suggestions.

We have been operating Dolphin on several domains since 2008, so I am fairly experienced with it as a social networking tool. Just wondering if anyone has bridged into a system with a business directory component.

With one of our Dolphin systems, we just added a link from individual records to a directory listing for their company using a different directory software solution.  We could do the same for the Chamber of Commerce, but I am wondering if their is a better way.

Thank you to all of your for your help, and to Boonex for its amazing software development.

i chuckeled at this inquiry. you have been using dolphin on several domains since 2008, then there is no need to ask if anyone would dare launching dolphin on any site that would stand public scrutiny.

i recall dolphin 6.1.4 being launched on some high volume sites, one was for lensonatlanta, the other was some site for CDC. needless to say they were gone shortly after being moved from staging to production, because dolphin was not and is not ready for high production environments. if it were do you not think andrew boon would be using his own software, dont you think it odd, that boonex is not running dolphin as their production solution.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
