Uploading Sound using FTP instead of Website

I am not sure if this question was answered earlier or not. So, please pardon me and let me know if this can be done.

I have couple of 100 mp3 files that needs to be uploaded to my dolphin website. However, uploading 1 file at a time from a user account using the upload module on the Sound module takes a lot of time.

Is there a easy way to bulk upload mp3 files directly to server (Like FTP upload to the server).

If there is any better when then please suggest me.

Closet way is to select multiple files with the Flash uploader, which spawns a box for each file to upload/delete. You can't simply upload the files to the server via FTP, as Dolphin needs to process them first (convert into appropriate formats and quality, create database entries, etc.).

What would be needed is a "tool" to do this, you FTP the files up to a directory on the server and then go to the "tool" to start the processing of the files by Dolphin.  This might be useful for an admin of a site if they need to get a lot of sound files on the site without doing a lot of work.
