Upload link to default public folder

Does anybody know what link to use in order to have a "Upload File" button/link that uploads files directly to a public folder?

Right now I have  http://mysite.com/m/files/albums/my/add_objects/  but this uploads to a PRIVATE/ME Only folder. Is there a way to create a link that goes straight to a user's public folder like {nickname}'s photos?

Or is there a way to disable PRIVATE albums?

Thanks for the help guys.

the problem, is that you are not going to get a database association with these files if you were to upload them directly. so not sure what the purpose would be in uploading them?

furthermore, privacy should be controlled from the admin panel under privacy settings. i have stripped those settings from quite a few dolphin installs, because it presents a level of confusion and complication for users.

Thanks for the reply DosDawg.

The current way to upload a photo/video/sound with Dolphin 7 is by creating an album or selecting a current one. Unfortunately my users are getting confused and wants to have a button that says "Upload Photo" instead of having to go to the an album.

I want to add a link that would just say "Upload Photo" and when a user clicks it... they get the upload page and the photo they select then goes to their default user's album. No need to go through 2 steps of selecting an album then adding item.

How did you get rid of the PRIVATE album settings? I can't seem to find it on the settings.

Thanks again.
