Upgrade to 7.0.3 from 7.0.2

hi i am actually very good with dolphin i just never uploaded my site from a FTP i just upload it by using my file manager in my hosting account. Could anyone give me some easy steps on how to update it? Thank you.

ftp is really a simple application once you have been exposed and used it a few times. i would recommend winscp as my choice of ftp clients.

 

you end up with two panes, local and remote. you would navigate the local side to the directory on your machine where the files are you wish to upload, then on the remote side, make sure  you are pushing the files to the correct directory.

 

pretty much it.

 

as for simple steps of upgrading, i think boonex has provided a decent method for running the upgrades. you upload the files ftp, then run the upgrade script, things should work out for you. if you are concerned, i would suggest duplicating your current environment, test the upgrade on a dev site, so that you are comfortable, then give it a whirl on your production environment.

 

*NOTE* backup backup backup backup backup. please dont forget to backup before performing any major work on your site.
