Top Controls Missing

On all my file uploads, video, audio, picture, ect there are no button option to choose from embed, flash, regular, etc. All I see is this

Clear cache and try looking again ...

yvw ... I have seen this happen from time to time especially if you clear cache and then immediately click clear cache again ... I think it stops the control from appearing correctly!  you may also notice this issue with your calendar under 'people' pages ....

if it does happen ... wait few min's then clear cache >> look again and everything is back to normal ...

Thanks this also just helped me.. Had no idea what happened. Easy fix!

Looking at this further it seems I lose top controls when I switch to Memcache.   When I switch back to file they are back.

 
It may be because memcache cannot be cleared from dolphin. It is however suppose to automatically clear itself in one hour. But they may depend on the server configuration. In order to force memcache to be cleared requires the memcache server be restarted.
