OK this is strange. In all templates, in all browsers and after clearing cache TinyMCE in all areas where it is suposed to appear, has now stopped appearing, but in some places has been replaced by links for "style" "font size" etc. I'm thinking it could be due to a mod, but I'm not entirely sure when TinyMCE stopped working, and which mods I may have installed since then. I have hacked a bit of code about here and there, but nothing that would effect TinyMCE. It has also stopped working in the admin panel for mass mailer, html blocks and the like.
Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. If there is a known issue etc, or if there is some setting that may have been changed?

Hmm OK found the cause of this. I moved the dolphin install to another directory, then updated header.inc.php to reflect those changes. Some how that has broken TinyMCE. Trying to find out where I need to make changes to TinyMCE to reflect this? |
I'll just sit here and answer all my own threads Just in case anyone else has this problem, the cure is to manually delete cache and public cache e.g vi ftp - making bsure not to delete .htaccess file! Fixed now. |
slix it is relatively well known that using the link on the admin panel does not clear the cache correctly, that is is best done from SSH, ftp, or your control panel. so glad you got that one figured out. but i think its posted maybe 1000 times here on the forums. I've tested those links extensively and for me, they clear all the cache just fine...... http://towtalk.net ... Hosted by Zarconia.net! |

My site is just in testing at the mo so just a few test members (untill later this month when 8000 members will be imported), but for the most part, so far, the cache clearing admin feature has worked. It doesn't actually clear all the cache files though! This was the only time I had a problem with it, and that was because I moved the site to another directory. The only reason I had to manually clear it was because TinyMCE wasn't displaying correctly. |
