Please don't make multiple topics about the same problems.

There are many ways to block pages or items from being seen.

PAC, Page Access Control, is very helpful too.

This is actually asking if there is a bug with the privacy settings of the timeline.  I am not sure.  For one, you should try to see if you can reproduce it on the boonex demo site: demo.boonex.com.  If it shows up there, then it is likely to be a bug.

First, how are photos stored for the timeline?  If photos added to the timeline are stored in your profile photos and profile photos is set to public, then there is the root cause.  I have never added a photo to my timeline.  If I post a photo to someone else's timeline, where is that photo stored?  These questions need to be answered to help understand the nature of the problem.

This is why I stated this, it is not a bug.

They need to learn how to use all the privacy, page access, and member profile permissions.

And the removal of things from showing in the timeline.

First, how are photos stored for the timeline?

You should know this; how can you declare it's a bug if you don't know the process?

I have just clarified on site, you have to take a couple steps to "stop" the photos from being shown.

There are about three steps, once this is done all the photos disappeared from "guest" or "other" members from seeing.

OK, let me go into the timeline module and see if there is a setting for photos from the timeline; I don't recall that one.  This person is not talking about regular photos uploaded through the member's photo albums but the timeline.  See, on the post to timeline thingy, you can post a photo to the timeline.  Where is that photo stored?  See, normally you upload a photo an existing album or you create a new album.  Photo privacy is set by the album privacy.  Now I have never uploaded a photo to the timeline of a member, so no, I don't know where they are stored.  Perhaps they are stored in the timeline module.  Not all of us are Dolphin experts like you are, so we may ask a question that you think is a bit on the stupid side.  However, asking stupid questions is one way to learn and not be so stupid.

It was not intended to come off that way.

The reason for being sure, I could prove it on demo.boonex.com.

If you upload your avatar, it will show in the outline.

If you upload a photo, make the new album, e.g. "My Private Stuff," and then make the privacy settings there, you won't have a problem of the images showing in the outline.
