Hi, i want to UNHIDE an action for the timeline but i dont know how the setting section of timeline works
When im at the page /m/wall/admin
Hide events from Timeline:
There is a block with all the action that is show in the timeline... but how to HIDE or UNHIDE it?
you cant remove an item in the block list, you only can select it... but even after click save the item is still unselected...
So how i can make that when a user change his statut message... it appear in the timeline... this is my real question...
thx

When selecting, you hold the CTRL button, select or deselect the highlighted choice.
Save.

No, not a bug...
I selected to hide the status update and they are not there.

Then I updated my status, and refreshed. It was hidden.

Then I selected to show the status again, saved, went to page and refreshed without making a new status update.
The previous "hidden" status now shows..

That is not the timeline, that is the outline, and you cannot show status updates in the outline.

That's out of my technical range. LOL
Hopefully someone with that knowledge can chime in and help.
Did you search here for that?

I think the outline only shows "modules" status, not simple site events... ManOfTeal.COM a Proud UNA site, six years running strong! |

if it's a picked up by spy code then it is posible. it depends what it is you want to show on your outline or timeline. if it is a 3rd party module, then contact the vendor and ask them.

He wants "status" updates to members profiles to show on the index outline.

Ok.. But if members wanna play around with the status update then your whole timeline if filled with status updates.

Status updates cannot be put on the outline.
Reasons.
1) The outline has items that also have thumbnail images to go with them. Status updates do not have a thumbnail. 2) The outline was only designed to take items created with one of the installable modules. This is because a function within the module is called to retrieved the outline block. Status updates are not part of a module. They are part of the core. 3) Because of reasons 1 and 2 it would take a lot of code rewriting to get status updates to work on the outline. 4) The outline is like a pinrest type system. It was not designed to be used like a facebook news feed.
