Template Name vs Template Vendor Name

I am working on a new template specific to a new site. The vendor name is "MTS", and the template name is "caredesign", yet when looking at the bottom, the template name shows as mts. Looking at the default templates the template name is different from the vendor name, so how do those show properly with the template name at the bottom of the site for users to switch between?

scratch this one (slaps self). I realized it was the name of the template folder. I had tmpl_mts instead of tmpl_caredesign.
