Seeking app suggestions for free (if possible) apps for IOS and android that will compress videos on iPads, iPhones, Samsung galaxy devices for uploading.
So that way, my members who record themselves on their devices can upload longer videos as I have my server upload limit set at 300 mb. You know, these devices by default records at a very high resolution. 3-4 min recorded video already maxes out 300 mb.
I'm hoping for an app that will compress video to something like mp4 or mov and then upload it for further compression by FFMPEG. I'm only concerned that it would further degrade the quality so I'm hoping for lossless compression of some kind.
Any suggestion or something you have already tried out? Perhaps a format recommended to compress first before uploading.
