Still can't get rid of _underscores in Forum

I've followed all the advice from all the unity forum posts regarding this issue.

However, I still can't get my forum language to fully compile (and yes I followed step 5 and all related instructions).

I'm still seeing underscores in my forum like:

_RECENT TOPICS   and   _1 posts    etc.

Any additional advice or things I should try...???

Try uninstalling and reinstall Forums. Also make sure you clean out your cache through ftp or cpanel.

save the forum sql them unistall them import your backup

Can you please give more specific directions on how I can save forum sql and then import it back into database.

I will try uninstalling forum and then reinstalling it, but I don't want to lose all my data.  Thanks.

You can do this by going to >>>  http://www.yoursite.com/administration/db.php

and select >>> Tables backup Tools

Choose operation and table:   Backup structure and content

Them you will see in the second box

and save all the sql for forum sample like

Start: bx_forum

End: bx_forum_vote

Start: bx_events_forum

End:  bx_events_forum_vote

You will  see more with the world >> bx_forum_bla bla

you have to save all these sql

them backup your /modules/boonex/forum all data

I try new installation them replace the backup them Restore all Database for the forum

and you done I been doinG this many times work greate

I've followed your steps and instructions "exactly" but still get the underscores.

I followed step 5 in the upgrade instructions.

I deleted my 3rd party template folders in forum/layout

I switched to uni template in admin

I went to manage forum and compiled language.

After the first compile I still get these: [[ ]]

After the second compile I am only left with _underscores

After 50 more compiles I still have _underscores
