Simply delete it in your database sys_menu_member table.

Then delete sys_menu_member.inc from cache ;-)

Where do I find those?

In your database. You can clear your site's cache by emptying the /cache/ and /cache_public/ directories (except for the .htaccess file).

You'll find it in the sys_menu_member table in your site's database.

You should have some front-end method to access your databases through your hosting account's control panel. In most cases, it's phpMyAdmin.

Seems MichelSiss gave you the instructions for removing the status message from the member menu. To remove it from the top of the page:

/templates/base/css/top_menu.css

.subMenuInfoKeeper .notify_message {
min-width: 450px;
max-width: 450px;
position: relative;
float: left;
display: none;
}

Add the text in red, save your changes, and clear your site's cache.

Thank you. But is it ok if I deleted the other file from the database?

That removed the status message feature from the member menu (bottom menu). If you didn't want it there either, then you don't need to worry about it.
