Standard Members Are Not Able To Embed YouTu Video

My site was recently upgraded to 7.1.4 from 7.09 (not completely done though). One problem I just found and I think should be an easy fix is video embedding.  a standard member goes to upload video and select Embed or Regular, the page just spins for ever without popping up the box for you to insert the link.  Under membership level in ACP standard group has the uploading video enabled.

I think some of you might have this problem before, please share how to fix it.

Under Settings - Membership Levels - Click Actions next to the Standard Membership type - is Videos Add enabled?

PHP Warning:  Missing argument 1 for BxDolTextModule::actionView() in /home/ng

that may be your culprit. Without a completed upgrade, anything can go wrong.

Ok. so I installed brand new Dolphin on a brand new domain, everything works fine except the EMBED youtube video.

This must be a dolphin bug or something. weird.

All video actions = no limited.

I wish I can submit a Boonex ticket because this is frustrating, you paid for something that really doesn't work. or they try to sell me the video mod or something.

I checked on my test site, and embed DID work....

HOWEVER- After I clicked the "Submit" button, the screen did not refresh and close the submission form....

The video is posted on the site though.

Is this the same issue you are seeing?

Update- I tried again and works fine on my- 7.1.4

Did you try with a regular standard account?

YUP- I checked it with one of my standard profile accounts.

Your issue is very strange...I would have thought all that work you did completely re-installing would have paid-off Undecided

Could there possibly be some folder somewhere that needs permissions changed?

AND- Have you tried with different web browsers?

so I contact my host at http://www.zarconia.net/ , Nathan was so kind to walk the extra mile to help me out with this issue.

he investigated and found it was the username type that caused all the trouble. Username like IamWhatever is ok, but username I am Whatever or I'm Whatever (foreign language usernames) are not ok because Dolphin doesn't support this.

And it's bad because Dolphin is an international application then it should support all languages, not just Russian.

By the way, I would recommend Zarconia hosting for everyone because they've been doing a good job of taking care their customers, and it doesn't matter if you pay 100$/month or 12$/month. Great hosting service I've never had.
