Spy Modue error

I understand that the Spy module shows a list of activity on the site.  I am experiencing some issues with the spy module, please see picture to see what I mean, but basically when an activity is listed on the spy module it is multiplied a lot of times.  what can I do about this???

Maybe that profile (jeg069) view your page many times ?

SashaE - That is not the issue sorry.  There has not been activity on the site as I have only just taken the site live after working on it and moving it back to the root folder.

Any other suggestions on what may be gthe problem guys?

The profile as in the picture antonio shows up in the spy as having been viewed constantly by a number of members, I find it difficult to think that this one profile is the only profile on the site (if it is actually being viewed at all) being viewed and showing up in the spy module.

Curious if anyone else has this issue???

Actually I am having this issue as well.  When you log into the spy view for the first time it dispalys the last item in spy 10 times, but as you sit and watch the spy it will refresh with new data as members use the site.

I encountered this problem, threatening to close my hosting site, spy creates a heavy load on the server, spy behaves like mad

yep and now you know why facebook is so god damn slow.....  all the ajax needs to be removed completly here.  its not like any one sits on the spy page just watching it change every second.  

have it call from the database one time on page load and thats it.

and if i had to guess that was a fire fox user. it seems fire fox talks back to the site alot more often then IE  so this might be the case on page load....

has anyone found a fix for this has its annoying and i am suffering with the very same problem

Never mind I found the solution.   Very easy!  just knock out this code

Now I don't have to worry about how many times I check those hot girls.  Just kidding.  I feel appropriate to remove this.  :)
