Spammers Joining my site

Hi,

It seems Dolphin is a great haven for spammers targeting a place to tout their wares.

I have a Dolphin site up fir ages now, but have not done much with it for 6 months.

I logged in today and saw 7000 new members waiting approval. whahoo I thought....

Well, when I looked at the fake email address's and usernames I new I had been targeted by spammers trying to get access to put up the fake rolex and viagra posts etc. Mother F......

The search hitting my site is for the login trail that Dolphin leaves...

I just give up with the internet of people spoiling it for everyone...

Any way I can stop this?

Regards Glenn

I have all of mine blocked now... and it gives me great pleasure every day when I look at the spam log and see the URL's of all those that didnt make it onto my site that day : )

Are you using shared hosting or a VPS/Dedicated?

Yes you can stop it look up cloudflare...Look into it you will love the options it takes work to get it tweaked but you should google project honeypot which they have all the urls to ALL those MF as you called them... I could go on for 30 minutes why you should do this but I've done my part the rest you will find everyday your site is on cloudflare...starting with 14 data centers around the world...OH and it's free...
