Spammer on sites

hi

I seem to have a Chinese spammer! He keeps putting his advertising onto my sites bit, and it automatically then places the add onto the time line (very irritating). I tried deleting him, however he just comes back, I now want to ban the accounts to stop him using same email, however it doesn't remove the offending material when I do that. I also seem to have lost the ability to delete the sites he is posting, there is no function to delete his sites from the admin side. So my site is littered with adverts for mobile phones! How do i get rid of either the sites or block the offending email address so i can delete his account?

There is so much content on this site in regards to stopping spam that all I'm going to do is suggest you use the search function here. You WILL find an answer to your problem....

well that told me. I did look but the question was how do i delete other peoples sites? that function is not there, so how do i do it?

yoursite/m/sites/administration/admin_entries  you can delete them there

far as blocking the spammers there are millions of forums on this topic like the other have already said

To delete a site you go to the actual site page. There will be a action block on the site page. If your logged in as admin you will see a delete button there.

But as others have mentioned. Delete the member will remove all their junk. And put some spam filtering method in place to prevent them from joining in the first place and you would not have to worry about that.

Thats just it, the block button is not there, no delete button, nothing. There is no way to remove their sites now, as if by magic, poof! delete button gone. There is nothing there in module, site settings either. I deleted the offender and his rubbish is gone, but not being able to remove sites without removing the member seems a bit drastic, not in his case he is a spammer but normal members that make a mistake and post something inappropriate, don't really want to delete their entire account.  

Ok let me ask this. Are you logged as admin?

yes logged in as admin, and both sites and the modules setting bit for sites, no way to remove other peoples sites
