Spam from contact page

So recently we have been getting 100's of e-mails from out contact page. We are running 7.1.3 (I think, might be .4), and we had a ton of spam problems from the join page but after finding a really buried post about adding a human check (like what is 1+1=?), it stopped all but all spam and bot signups.

However, now we are getting bombarded with the contact page. I would like to add the same thing but I don't see a page builder for it and goggle and other searching is turning up nothing on combating this (almost always it spam related to the join page but not the contact page).

Any ideas out there?

I use this: http://www.boonex.com/m/logical-captcha

It replaces the default captcha, and allows you to enter  a number of questions and answers,  If the question isn't answered correctly, the form is not submitted.  The questions/answers you enter are rotated on every page load. Of course if you use questions like:

What is the longest river in the United States?     ... it may defeat poorly educated people as well as spammers,  In that case, questions like "What color was George Washington's white horse?" might be better.  On the site I use this on, I ask the user to unscramble letters to form a correctly spelled word.

My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees.

i'm sure someone will come up with a simple answer for you, but if not you can always disable the contact form (admin/advanced settings/general) and then create your own one in page builders, it's just a thought
