Sitemap stop working

Sitemap is not working when I try to do it manually this is the error that I am getting. Anyone have an idea how to fix that issue?

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/****/public_html/inc/classes/BxDolModuleDb.php on line 23.

If site is considerably big then sitemap generation can take some time - as the result live generation from admin panel could fail, but sitemap is generated on cron (every day) - and it should generated there without problems, since there is no timeout there.

Thanks for the reply Alex. But when the sitemap generate on admin panel more links will show up on google. since the problem started google is showing up less and less link about the site. I contacted my host provider they increased the size from 250MB to 500MB but still can't generate sitemap at dolphin admin panel.

It shouldn't be any difference in sitemap generation, because sitemap generation function is the same, it just run from different places, but the problem is when you run it from admin panel then the execution time is limited. So if you want to change some PHP setting to make it work, you need to increase execution time (max_execution_time).

Also if you generate it from admin panel, it will be regenerated again upon first cron run (every day).

Hi, i have a problem to with the sitemap generation it says the sitemap is not generated how can i now or what should i do so it generates it?

Is there a way to check if cron is creating the map or what is the problem to generate it.

My site comes from dolphin 7.0.x and it's two years old.

Some hints or tips are very welcome.
