Site Stats bug?

Hi Guys, I have just upgraded today to version 7.0.3 - everything seems to have gone smoothly all except when I have members logged in to the site, it does not show the correct amount "online" in the site stats area if you are logged in to the site - but before you log in, it shows how many are online, for example, before logging into the site, it showed 4 users online, once logged in it only showed 2 users...has anyone else had this problem and if so could you please let me know how you fixed it.

I have searched the forums but can't seem to find anyone else having the same problem.

Thanks for the reply Sasha, I thought the same thing but thats not it...However I have 3 accounts on there, admin, normal account and a test account...when I use 3 different browsers to sign in, they all show different amounts as being online, but when I go to admin and clear the cache and hit refresh on the home page...it shows how many people are logged in...but when others log in, it does not show them in the site stats block - it does still show them under the online tab in the members block tho - so I am totally confused with this one...

Under your Admin>Settings>Advance Settings> Time period in minutes within which a member is considered to be online: (5 minutes)

Setting this at five minutes means the system does not show you or members on-line until that time has lapsed

Just guessing here on your problem, That is what I have discovered.

Hey Newton, thanks for your reply too - I had forgotten about that, but that isn't the problem eithere, I just had someone else sign in on their account without clearing the cache first and it still shows my three accounts as online in the site stats...but does not show theirs...but as soon as I clear the cache, they will show up...grrrrr lol

It also seems to be doing it the other way round...when someone has logged out from the site - under the members block it shows 3 people, but now under the site stats, it shows that 4 are online.

Can someone from boonex please help! can't be doing with another year of sleepless nights cause of your upgrades not working right lol...

I am also getting this exact problem, also when I swap templates I get varying amounts of online users!

I may have found the problem...

Under Page Builders>Homepage>Site Stats> change the block cache setting to  0, it should be default at 3600
