The forums have really slowed.  Maybe everyone is waiting in line at the health exchanges.

You maybe able to manually delete them from your sitemap prior to submitting, but to eliminate them from ever generating.... I am unsure. I will be able to look right after I sign up for that health plan. LOL

Each sitemap item is listed as a function in the sitemap.php in the root. You maybe able to block it by cancelling the function that calls the articles, news and sites. // in front of each line pertaining to the areas you want blocked may work. Back up prior to changes.

UE30 sells a sitemap generator for 7.1 which you can choose what gets indexed in Administration. It also puts a xml sitemap index for new content on the bottom menu of the areas you would like to index.

You can remove some entries from the sitemap in the database table: sys_objects_site_maps

In that table you can edit the particular one you don't want in the sitemap. Select the entry you want to remove/hide and change the active 1 to active 0.

I attached a screen shot. Hopefully this is what you are refering to.

Be sure to clear the database cache and rebuilt the sitemap or it should rebuilt at 2 AM server time on it's own to take effect.

You can also comment out some pages in /inc/classes/BxDolSiteMapsSystem.php like contact.php, faq.php, etc. for example.
