Site Backup

why is it i do a full backup of my site with phpmyadmin , an then restore, but the postinging users have made

are not useable, like pics,vids .

 If you have reinstalled the site and only make backups of your database... then no, there is no way you can get them back. If you still have these files somewhere, you can copy them to the data folder that belongs to each module.

well i am gonna be makein a new domain, an doin a fresh copy of Dolphin

an restore the old site stuff to it ,not sure where the pics an vids are store, 

i only let users upload ta the forum  area,

In that case just restore a backup of your www root (public_html) but don't forget to to modify the /inc/header.inc.php to reflect the new settings AND clear the cache
