Should I upgrade?

Hi all, I was just about to change the them on my site and noticed that the themes depend on the version that I am running. I am just setting up and don't have any members yet. I am leary of updating and not being able to run some of the mods. Mods are listed below.  The only mod that I plan on adding is the affiliate mod from the market. Should I upgrade or not. Would like to know the pros and cons and if I should upgrade and to what level of upgrade before I go to much further. I know that like almost any script that the latest upgrade isn't always compatable with the mods.

you have listed the boonex default modules and for the most part they work. the store is not 100%, there have been some complaints about quick links, poll vote tracking, and a few other quirks and nuisances, but overall the script is solid.

if you have no members, then i would just drop the version you have not worry about an upgrade, and just start fresh, depending on what version your template is compatible with, a few changes can bring it up to standards for 7.0.5.

Oh man I just spent the last 4 or 5 days familiarizing myself with the site again and changing everythng. Had left it alone for about a year then changed my mind on what I wanted the site to be. But I guess your right. It's better to do it now before I go public and get members in. Any other coments before I do this? Got to get some smokes and beer before I get started on this one.
