Share profile themes

Hello,    Can some one please tell me where the setting is so I can give members the option to save there profile themes to public?

As admin I can publish profile themes and save them to "public" but as a regular member they can save them but don't have don't have that option so any member can see and use them.

I'm sure there is an option some where but I can't find it.

Thank you...

do a check in the forums cause I believe this was brought up before - but as a sidenote, I would be careful. Depending on the purpose of your site, you may not want someone to create a theme that is inappropriate. So having admin 'approve' themes before making public may be a good idea.

Yes, I did talk about themes and site publishing.  The backend also had an importer but it was broken and probably still is broken.

AlexT said that it would probably be 7.2 before the broken theme publish would be fixed.  So I rolled up my sleeves and went to work on it.  I found out how it was suppose to work and why it was not.  I put in a fix on my test site and it was working except for a slight bug on display or something.  I gave my findings to AlexT and it is supposedly rolled into 7.1.4 now but I have yet to upgrade my site and since AlexT supposedly fix it for 7.1.4 I did not add my fix to my production site.

So, first of all, what Dolphin version are you running?  Publishing themes is part of the profile customiser,  There is a publish button and it allows you to publish just for you, or for the site where others can use the theme.  In previous 7.1 than 4, or was it 3, versions, it is broken and you can not publish to site, just to your theme store.

Yes, someone could add adult backgrounds and there is no way to mark them as such and the thumbnail is small.  Of course you can delete themes from the admin/backend.

Thanks for the replies and sorry I didn't get right back to them, I seem to have a hard time logging into this site from time to time. (For days at a time)

I am running 7.1.4

As the admin I can save profile themes to private or public but as a reg member they only have the option to save them to,  well they don't have an option.  It will ask to name the theme and saves it as private. I see what you mean about someone publishing something a bit off the norm.

Can anyone suggest a good mod to let members pick from a list of pre made profile themes? that would get me what I'm looking for.  Just to give ppl the option to choose.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
