Setting up email

Shouldn't I be able to send e-mail to my site email address "profile" from out side the site, eg: gmail?

You can send email from google to the email address you used for your sites setup.

But i don't get the Profile part.  If you thinking you can send email directly to your members and they will show up in the site, then no. Dolphin is not a email server. You can't send email to it.
