I have 2 unused license for more than 4years and I want to get rid of them. Is there a "legal" way to sell them or Boonex will punish me for this? Let me know.
Thanks,
Sam

Licenses are non-transferable - both legally and technically - there's no way to move them to another account. BoonEx Certified Host: Zarconia.net - Fully Supported Shared and Dedicated for Dolphin |
Only way would be to transfer your whole account to someone else. |
I was thinking about this too. What if I put together a boonex website and it became a hit so a large company wanted to buy it from me. What do I do about the license if I also have numerous other boonex accounts? I wouldn't be able to transfer my whole account because of my other sites. So what could I do in this situation? |
If a site becomes valuable enough to interest buyers then they will need to spend $799 for a transfer fee on top of the value of the site. Or whatever the cost to get a dolphin license then. Vunderba..... Challenge Yourself to be the Best...... Hosting from Zarconia.net |
ok. Thank you. |
This has been brought up several times and Boonex and Andrew refuses to go ahead and implement it. Lost revenue Boonex! Boonex could have it set so they get say, 10% of the sale of the license. Plus, that might mean that the usage of Dolphin would grow a bit because a lot of people are not going to use Dolphin and pay $399 AUD (the cross out price) when ELGG and Oxwall are strong competitors with large support communities. More users means more Market sales as well. Allowing transfers/sales of Dolphin licenses can be a win-win situation for all involved. Geeks, making the world a better place |
