 The Issue of sub-categories have not been consider with Dolphin yet; i wonder why? definitely not because it's not important. I would like to create a category in my blog for LYRICS and then have sub-categories like RAP SONGS, GOSPEL SONGS, R&B etc same also goes for the photo categories e.g, MODELS and you have subcategories like Newyork, Nigeria, Germany etc it would really bring in more creativity and member connection |
Totally agree. Don't expect that we have a chance to get this until Dolphin 8. If that flexibility isn't implemented then I'd be surprised. It would be a serious mistake and other platforms should be looked into. For some site ideas it's a deal breaker. Came to think of that Modzzz has a Ultimate Blog mod that does core changes. He has not yet updated it to be 7.1 compatible but if you contact him he may be able to do a customization that allows sub-categories. Let me know how it goes. 7.1 My favorite number |
