New anti-spam features  (in 7.1.3) blocks proxies which was used for spamming.

You can identify the reason of blocking, by checking Logs of different antispam features:

Admin > Tools > Antispam > DNS Blocklists> Log

Admin > Tools > Antispam > URI DNS Blocklists> Log

Admin > Tools > Antispam > Akismet > Log

Admin > Tools > Antispam > Stop Forum Spam > Log

It is possible to disable some of Anti-spam checks in:

Admin > Tools > Antispam > Stop Forum Spam > Settings

But doing this is not recommended, one more safer way is to disable some of particular checks in DNS Blocklists related to  proxies:

Hover over (i) icon in dnsbl.dronebl.org. rows and find "HTTP Proxy" and "SOCKS Proxy" and try to disable them.

Alex, is there a way to whitelist individual IPs?

In such way noone would have to turn entire filters down, but just whitelist individual IPs.

I looked for an option on admin, but couldn't find it. If there isn't, it would be a good addition for 7.1.4.

While at it, another good feature that could be added to Dolphin, is to beefed up the member reporting, such as to search members by IP, and have login reports as well.

yes,

it will take to "dolphin 7.1.4" add to remove a blocked ip, because it works very well,

so it would be a shame to remove "Stop Forum Spam and Akismet ..."

how to unlock an IP block with "AntiSpam" ?

It is possible to block or whitelist individual ip using admin > tools > IP blocklist, but it is disabled by default, you need to set "IP List Type" to "1".

But it will not affect Akismet, since it works by checking content.

I'm also experiencing this problem and genuine members are not able to register because of it. I will try AlexT suggestion below and report back.

For my part, it seems that the report is not sent to Stop Forum Spam.

I have entered my API key, and I have the message "Stop Forum Spam Your key is specified, so spam report Will Be When You delete member feels as spam." and blocking IP addresses and email addresses listed at Stop Forum Spam works, I see in the log.

But when I delete a member by clicking on "delete spam", it is not included in the database Stop Forum.

Is what I did not understand or is there a problem?

I've tested this functionality and when I delete user as spammer then reported spammers are listed under:

stopforumspam.com > User Panel > My Spammers

Please try to delete recent spammers, old spammers may not have logged IP address, since IP logging routine was changed in 7.1.3

Today I registered with stopforumspam.com and entered the API key.

I used the same key for 4 of my dolphin communities.

I see in the log some suspected spammers listed (no older than 5 days old) but can't see them listed here:

stopforumspam.com > User Panel > My Spammers

So how do I delete these from the log if they are not listed at stopforumspam.com ?

It seems I'm forced to use the api key at stopforumspam.com, if I do not then I'm not able to delete the user from the log right?

Hi Alex, I thought about this eventuality, but I just tried again with a registered date and spam stopforumspam.com> User Panel> My Spammers remains desperately empty. Another idea?

For all those who are getting spam message while registering; try disabling "Smart Antispam check" from Tools> Antispam tools> Settings. It solved the issue for me.

I do not know what this "Smart Antispam Check" does.

Thanks will try that. How do you have your other spam settings?

Maybe this is some specific rules of stopforumspam.com, try to get new key and use it on one site only.

It's strange, I asked for a new API key, without deleting the first though it was new, and it works the new key. In any case, a big applause for this frequency enhance it was time that we take care of this problem in a professional way, thank you Alex

The problem is "Akismet" how users blocked can not be unlocked,

and management of the site "Akismet" is not allowed
