Responsive Layout

Hello, I noticed that there are a few topics about responsive website. I also read the tutorials, but it did not help me very well. I know that there are some templates that is responsive, but I care about keeping my own template and making it responsive. How can I do this? I intend that my website will also display well on small screens, phones, tablets ...

Maybe could someone describe step by step how to do this?

 I suggest posting a job or contacting one of the writers of the responsive scripts and ask them t do custom work your make your template responsive.
