Resolution Solved!

each thread Gould have a condition or conclusion.  Status so to speak!  If solved you should vibe able to see it in the thumbnail of the post itself!  If in progress the it should state as such like in progress or SOLVED!!

Status of a thread should be visible of here!

That is the point it should have a multiple choice option with status like:

Just posted!

to

resolved

and everything in between... There should also be prescriptive searches for levels of association!  Anything above 75% should be tied to other threads that may already have the solution!  Right now a new thread starts at. 0 and stays at zero and has no status!! It allows the server to be smart and not rely on the EU to do what they should have done!  Prescriptive title searches should be done on each entry...

All very nice those extra options, but who is going to moderate that?

Anyway, you could already start with confirming that the resolution provided to you was correct or not.

Really?  The moderator is the poster!  The idea it's to look at resolved threads and or know if there is an answer to the problem or should I wait to read it...

Don't get me wrong, I like the idea but it just means more work for the current moderators and they are already complaining that it takes too much time (not saying it's not justified). Taking in mind the "company culture" I think many good solutions will end up in the pile of unresolved issues because no one took the time to close or rate the topic correctly.

What people could do is + the topic with the correct answer. This way, when searching, those topics might appear ar the top, rather than on page x.

Something else that to me is important too. People making suggestions do this based on their own past experience or knowledge. These experiences and the knowledge can sometimes give you clues as where to look, helping you to resolve the issue you have. Therefore giving value to topics you would exclude from your search.
