Removing subscribe Block creates Gzip Error

If the Subscribe Block is removed a Gzip error is encountered upon revisiting the homepage.  Here is how to trigger the event:

Go into the Admin panel

Select Pages Block  then Homepage

Drag Subscribe to inactive blocks

Go to your website homepage

Click any of the return home (Index.html)  features (home/Flash Promo/Home Icon)

You will now get an Internet Explorer Gzip error

Firefox will not display the error.

Sorry, it's index.php  not index.html.

Tried it again.  For some reason there is only a problem with the Index page (Home).

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hello

I tested the issue following all your instructions and cannot reproduce the issue on fresh installed Dolphin 7.0.3

I used IE 8

I have just recreated the error on the Boonex Admin Demo.  I was able to check it at the boonex demo's active page.    I also found the error on someone else's website.  Click home a few times at:

http://www.militaryromance.us/

If you have shoutbox or Subscrible listed on the page it will not display an error.  I do not wish to have either of those features on my page.  I am using Arvixe hosting, and have done a fresh install on several domains.  Each time I am getting the error.  I have not tried it with out a license.

I got rid of the error. What I did:

Open Admin Panel

Open Advanced Settings

Open Other

Disable Page Blocks Cache

That got rid of the error, but you really need to look at how the page blocks are caching...

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
