Removes faves from My Contacts block in mail.php

Is it possible to remove the "Faves" option from the My Contacts block in the mail.php file?  I can't find the file that loads this information.

Also, can you tell me what file loads the "letter" and "greeting" checkboxes in the "Mail Box" block?

The "letter" and "greeting" checkboxes are in /templates/basemail_box_top_section.html. If you want to remove them delete the line __messages_types_list__.
