 I have a client that wants the Friend Request removed from his site. I cannot find the code anywhere to remove it and it is not in the admin. How do I remove it. What features depend on it to work? What other features will stop working when I remove it? Thanks, Dan |
if you mean the friend button in the actions box on a members profile, you need to go to phpMyAdmin, it will be in sys_objects_actions i have no idea if other functions of the site depend on it so as always Backup your Database First before you delete the buttons that you don't want to appear |
That's part of it, there is also a button in th eupper right of everyone's profile and a link to their friends in the small profile nav bar to the right of the avitar. do you know where those can be removed?

1st I mean the +Add Friend to the left of the Message button in the profile header, it is just to the right of the small nav bar that has Profile . Info. Friends . etc etc 2nd, yes it is Profile . Info. Friends . etc etc

1st. are you running 7.1 because i don't see that? 2nd. if you are running 7.1, go to admin - Builders - Navigation Menu, then scroll to the right until you see My Profile, in that column is My Friends, click on that, un-tick Member then save changes |
