Register, Login and Change Profile Infomation Problems

Hi

I'm on Dolphin 7.0.5 at the moment, but have noticed that alot of new people cannot  register, their email address well basically gets regected.

I have also had exiting members unable to login and then the ones who can login when they have tried changing their profile information then click save, it therefore highlights the explanmation mark next to email address and says Please Enter Correct Email.

I have also noticed that i cant delete members too?

Has anyone had these problems ?  if so a pointer in the right direction on how I can fix it would be great ?

you should go ahead an do the 7.0.6 update..

Still no differance, still have the same problem

Check this to make sure it has not changed.

Go into admin, then to builders then to profile fields.

You should be on the join form section.

Edit the email item under general info.

In edit, go to the advanced tab.

Min value should be 6

Max value empty

Unique should be checked

and the check field should be the following.

return (bool) preg_match('/^([a-z0-9\+\_\-\.]+)@([a-z0-9\+\_\-\.]+)$/i', $arg0);

That finishes the join form section. Go to the Edit Profile section and check that one as well.

What you are describing sounds like the check above is not correct. So this is the reason i am asking you to check all those settings.
